Jul 13 at 21:08 comment added Brian Borchers It’s worth noting that the common core standards allow for topics to be covered in a traditional sequence (geometry as a year long course after a year of algebra) or in an integrated fashion in which geometry and algebra topics are mixed throughout a four year sequence of Math I, Math II, Math III, Math IV. The same learning outcomes are ultimately included, but in different order. If a Student tells you that they didn’t take Geometry but did take Math I through IV, that is why.
