Apr 11, 2014 at 19:51 comment added Tristan Not at all relevant to the question, but there is a non-mathematical answer to your foam problem. Dissolve one or two Gas-X tablets in the dish water. The simethicone in the Gas-X is an anti-foaming agent. It will prevent formation of foam, and it will make any existing foam disappear quickly.
