Jun 6, 2014 at 20:55 comment added WetlabStudent what I said is there needs to be an in person meeting to discuss the grading scheme, where TAs agree upon a preset approximate median, ... not just the existence of a grading scheme, because as you have experience the grading schemes existence doesn't mean it will be followed.
