During the regular school year there would be frequent assemblies, half-days, snow days, and other events that made it difficult for multiple periods to stay in alignment even when taught by the same teacher. When you factor that into 5-8 different teachers, it makes holding exams at the same time very difficult. I think that's typical in the US. | |
